Schiffli Fabric

The range covers cotton schiffli, schiffli crepe including 3D floral work, and Tencel and cotton-Tencel schiffli at 54 and 60 inches for a softer, more fluid fall than cotton. Per-metre prices are listed on each product page.

Schiffli is embroidered on a multi-head loom into the cloth itself, so the work will not peel or lift the way an applied trim can, and it washes with the base fabric. The wider 60-inch goods are worth seeking out for dresses and co-ords, where a narrower width forces a join through the embroidery pattern.
