Pleated Fabric

Pleated fabric at TradeUNO — permanently pleated lycra at 58 inches (1.47 m), sold by the metre and in bulk.

The pleats are heat-set into the cloth, so they survive wearing, washing and packing without pressing — the reason pleated fabric is a standard for travel-friendly skirts, palazzos, dupattas and sleeves.

Two things to plan for. The width shown is the flat width before the pleats open, so usable width and yardage behave differently from a flat fabric; buy a test length before a production run. And the pleats run in one direction, so panels must be cut consistently or the fall will not match across a seam.
