Mashru Silk Fabric

Mashru silk at TradeUNO — Mashru in plain weave at 44 inches (1.12 m), sold by the metre and in bulk.

Mashru is a silk-and-cotton mixed weave from Gujarat and Rajasthan, built so the silk floats on the face and the cotton sits against the skin. That construction is the whole point: it reads and shines like silk while staying cool and comfortable to wear directly. Traditionally woven in satin stripes, often in bright contrast colourways.

Per-metre prices are listed on each product page. Designers use it for kurtas, blouses, jackets and borders where silk alone would be too warm.
