Taffeta Fabric
Taffeta at TradeUNO — crisp, smooth taffeta sold by the metre and in bulk. Width and per-metre price are listed on each product page.
Taffeta is a tightly woven plain-weave cloth with a papery crispness and a faint rustle when it moves. It holds volume without support — a gathered taffeta skirt stands out on its own, where a softer fabric would collapse.
That stiffness is also the limitation: it does not drape, it creases sharply, and it shows needle marks permanently. Use it where structure is wanted — gowns, skirts, linings that need body, and costume work.
