Santoon Fabric

Santoon fabric at TradeUNO — smooth, lightweight santoon sold by the metre and in bulk. Width and per-metre price are listed on each product page.

Santoon is the workhorse bottom and lining fabric of the Indian suit trade: a fine viscose-family cloth with a soft, slightly slippery face, opaque enough to line a sheer kurta and light enough not to add bulk. It is what most unstitched suit sets supply as the salwar and inner piece.

It takes plain dye evenly across a roll, which is the point — buyers match it to a printed kurta rather than making it the feature. Boutiques, suit-set manufacturers and export houses order here in bulk, with wholesale pricing and dispatch across India, the USA and Dubai/UAE.
