Cotton Slub Fabric

Cotton slub at TradeUNO — slub-weave cotton at 44 inches (1.12 m), from around Rs. 235 to Rs. 310 a metre.

Slub comes from the yarn, not the loom: the thread is spun deliberately uneven, so thicker sections appear at irregular intervals and give the surface a soft, nubby texture. It reads as relaxed and hand-made rather than crisp, which is why it suits casual kurtas, summer shirts and co-ords rather than formal shirting.

The irregularity is the fabric, not a fault — expect variation within a roll. Per-metre prices are listed on each product page.
