Pure organza runs from around Rs. 1,035 to Rs. 2,998 a metre. Standard organza sits between roughly Rs. 685 and Rs. 1,565, and dyeable organza, supplied undyed for colour-matched production, from about Rs. 1,350. Organza dupattas start near Rs. 520. Weaves are plain and sheer.

Organza holds its own shape rather than draping, which is what makes it work for structured sleeves, standing ruffles and lehenga layers that need volume without weight. It creases and shows needle marks, so cut carefully and press with a cloth.
